It’s a pricing issue!!

Our current real estate market is strong. The problem is housing AFFORDABILITY!!
If a home is listed at a great price, it will sell in a day, with multiple offers!  In this
week’s Consumer Price Index report (Inflation) the “Housing Cost” section showed
a 2.2% INCREASE over the past year. While we have seen home prices fall, the
overall cost for a purchaser is higher, as our interest rates have climbed. In a recent
economic update provided to our Associates, it was outlined that with every ¼ %
move in interest rates, your purchaser’s buying power is affected by 2.3%. In the past
couple months; our interest rates have climbed by nearly ¾ of a percent.

Did the interest rate increase adjust our housing price by 7 or 8% ?
The real issue is AFFORDABILITY!

Ok, so we say the key to our current market conditions is price, now how do you get the seller to list at the right price?
Your knowledge of the market is crucial. You must be able to present your knowledge of the market in a manner
understood by the client. To assist our Associates with this effort, we have added a graphing application to our list
of services. This system charts many elements of the market, within minutes, and can chart data on our market from
as broad a level as the entire MRIS database, to as focused as a specific neighborhood. Key, specific data, to help
you get the listing at the right price, or to help you negotiate the short sale with a bank, is at your fingertips.

The Internet is changing our business. 20 years ago, customers would “walk-in” to the
office to find out about housing in the area. Today, it’s different. The consuming public
today turns to the Internet to learn about the real estate market.

This fact is our focus!

What are we doing to help build our Associates business? We have doubled our back
end servers, enhanced our Internet network connections, and continue to expand our
education opportunities. We now have the ability to launch property specific web sites,
blogs, and to provide you an exchange server. We have also simplified ways to conduct
support and training to our Associates, no matter where in the world you are. You only

Our listings were officially posted the last week of May and we are already approaching
1,000 hits FROM THIS SERVICE ALONE.
