RE/MAX DESIGN CENTER -
Online Tool Will Provide
Marketing Templates
You will soon
have hundreds of customizable, trademark-compliant marketing
templates at your
disposal. Best of all, they'll be available at no charge. The
RE/MAX Design
Center was announced at the 2006 RE/MAX International
Summer Broker/Owner
Conference. Starting in October, our Associates can
use the online center,
accessible at RE/MAX MainStreet, to create their unique
marketing pieces. You
will be able to customize, print and distribute the pieces
or post them on your
Web sites. The RE/MAX Design Center will include
approximately 200
professionally designed templates branded specifically for
RE/MAX, in addition
to more than 1,200 more general pieces. Among them:
brochures, fliers,
postcards, animated Web commercials, virtual tours and
E-cards. The Design
Center is a benefit of being affiliated with RE/MAX at
no additional cost. It's
paid for by the U.S. Ad Fund. RE/MAX will be the
first national real estate
network to offer a complete design center to members.
Once you download and
customize the documents, you can print them, take
them to a professional
printer, e-mail to their clients and prospects, or post
them on your Web site.
You can also click on a link to have a professional
printer create and mail the
documents.
Other elements
of the Design Center:
- Save
favorite designs and use them on various documents.
-
Documents can be organized by projects.
- Take
advantage of a "phrase assistant" that suggests marketing
slogans and mottos.

Delivering these results is no accident. If you are looking for

benefits
package that RE/MAX Regency offers. Our average Associate earned
$160,000 last year. We are looking for ways to increase our Associates

real estate
career?
“THE REAL ESTATE CENTRE”
The construction project of “The Real Estate Centre” is
quickly closing in on its
final stages! Painting of the building is now
underway, the elevator is just about
finished, and much of the final cabinetry
is already in storage on site. We are
currently looking for a move into the
building in three weeks. There is still much
to do, but it is coming along
quickly!!
Helen and I are on site many evenings after work. If you
would like to see the
building, we would love to show it off!! Please just let
me know what day you
can stop by, and we will meet you there!! Call me on my
cell 571-218-2289
GET READY FOR THE NEXT
MARKET MOVE
Did you read the reports from NAR Chief Economists? “BE
PREPARED”,
should not just be a Boy Scouts motto, it should be yours as well.
The market is
changing and it moves fast. We have just completed August,
historically the
slowest month of the year in our business. September will
bring a return to a
more “normal” market, as our, and our customer and client’s
return from vacation
and get the kids back into school.
As for the reports, David Lereah, in
his Chief Economist’s Commentary,
predicts that the buyers’ market will
be short-lived. Read his report to see how
he thinks pent-up demand will
minimize the size of price softening. In Ken Fears
Trends report, he
concurs. Ken predicts that the market will reach a plateau later
this year,
with historically strong sales that will allow for robust revenues for real
estate practitioners in the coming years.
I have used the analogy many times, our real estate market
swings like that of a
pendulum of a clock. The pendulum swings to its extreme,
then abruptly changes
its direction, creating equilibrium.
Using the pendulum as an example to the real estate
industry, when our real estate
market swings hard to one side, reaching its
extreme position, this is the most
difficult market for real estate
practitioners. As we have approached this position
over our recent years, our
REALTOR count has climbed to an extraordinary level.
A level to which our
industry, as rosy as our market has been over the past few
years, cannot
support! This is evident in the drop in the national average REALTOR
earnings
over the past couple years. Additionally, in this past market, a Seller could
simply put a FSOB sign in their front yard and have multiple offers.
Now, the pendulum is swinging in the opposite direction,
which is bringing with it,
a better real estate market for REALTORS. Our agent
population is correcting
itself, leaving in our midst those of us who are
interested in making real estate our
careers. Buyers and sellers alike need
and require our services. Now more than
ever, you need to remain diligent to
the changes in our industry. Take advantage
of any and all “valuable”
educational opportunities you possibly can. Take
advantage of the opportunities which we offer. Many of our
events are
free of charge and will add to your bottom line income
See these reports
on MRIS.COM or e-mail me and I will forward them to you.
CONTEST
Congratulations to last
month’s contest winner of a $50 Gift Certificate to BoneFish
Grill, Sandy
Gherardi, Long and Foster!! Sandy was the first to answer the
question
correctly:
The Virginia General Assembly
has passed additional required elements of disclosure
a Seller must make to a
Purchaser in a real estate transaction. These new disclosures
did take effect
on July 1, 2006. What are the three additional areas of disclosure
that are now
required?
Now for this month’s contest.
When and where is the 2006
REALTORS Conference and Expo? Helen and I will
be in attendance, will we see
you there?
Be the first to answer the
question, and win the prize!!
Good Luck!!

“Come, ride the
high places. The eagle reaches for the sun, often alone but
never lonely. The
eagles selects its goals carefully. Its singleness of purpose
begins with
vision. Vision enhanced by its lofty position. No creature is born
with the
vision of an eagle, not even an eagle. The eagle learns greatness one
step at a
time. When
storm clouds gather, small birds
take cover and Eagles soar”
